Fabulous in tandem, the Porcelain Skull and Glamerous Ram collection, are inspired and

cast from expired friends. We source our initial products very carefully, as Christine (maker) is an animal lover and veteran vegetarian. She might claim to be one of Norway's first. Possibly Norway's only.

 

Before venturing into the world of creating skulls in porcelain, Christine worked as an illustrator and model maker for the Museum of Natural History in NY, drawing turtle skulls and recreating prehistoric plants.

The process of making these anatomically correct sculptures, is as meticulous as creating an illustration for print. Each skull consists of several molds, and can in total add up to 20+ mold pieces. Once cast and dry, the pieces get fired to over 2200 degrees before 14k gold luster is added on, and then fired once again.
